Culture Night 23rd September 2022

will be celebrated by Cork Comitium with the o
pening of Dún Mhuire to the public as part of Culture Night 2022 Trail.  The building will host an exhibition of the history and cultural impact of the Legion of Mary in Cork.  Click the link below to see our entry on the Culture Night website. Please call in to Dún Mhuire if you are in the neighbourhood.  Better still, call in and stay to help tell the story of the Legion to the many visitors we hope to receive.

The Feast of the Assumption Mass at Cork's Holy Rosary Shrine on the Lee road was attended by many Legionaries.  Despite the intermittent rain the event went very well with a larger than expected congregation.  People were delighted to discover that Bishop Emeritus John Buckley was to lead the concelebration of the Mass.

The Butter Exchange Band provided beautiful music, and the singers were also lovely.  Congratulations to the Cork's Holy Rosary Shrine Committee and all their volunteers.  This is the 75th anniversary of the Shrine  and it it still dear to our hearts,
